"Find Me" (Seeker Prototype)
A downloadable game for Windows
A first-person action puzzler where you switch between bodies on the fly! I've always liked the idea of trying to avoid detection by switching characters (imagine a guard chasing you and you can actually become the guard if necessary - but when you need to switch the guard will become sentient again) so I developed this prototype called "Find Me." The player must locate, occupy and deliver the target to the upload site without being killed by guards. To provide some difficulty, the player takes damage rather than individual NPCs, so your health stays with you as you switch between characters. Sprinting is per-character though so a combination of switching and sprinting can help you avoid guards.
A short tutorial is provided and controls are displayed on the main menu.
Enjoy and thanks for playing!
[Note: As this is a prototype, programming its core features to determine its viability for a full game project was my main focus. As such there's unfortunately no animation and the characters are these representative pill shapes... sorry about that.]
UPDATE: I'm developing this game for a full-fledged release! Updates are on Twitter @dpruzi - development logs and more are at danpruzina.wordpress.com

nice
It's a cool idea, but it left me feeling a little motion sick. Couldn't actually find the objective in the level after the tutorial...interested to see where this goes though
Thanks for the feedback! I actually was thinking of uploading a build that has an arrow pointing to objectives. The instant switching is indeed a problem, and in fact something I just posted about the other day: https://twitter.com/dpruzi/status/987790050950758400?s=19
